What We Offer

Expressive art therapy is about exploring different mediums through art therapy, such as painting, drawing, sewing, claywork and collage;however, it's not just about the materials, it's also about movement and exploration through a non-verbal or non-verbal/verbal way. No two people are the same; we are all unique.

No artistic skills or previous experience of working with art materials are needed to benefit from art therapy; it's about the willingness to have a go and explore artistic expression. Adults and children are welcome.

Art therapy can help individuals with:

  • Offering a safe and supportive space to explore feelings
  • Gently exploring emotions which may be difficult to verbalise
  • Exploring feelings of being stuck or overwhelmed
  • Encouraging different perspectives on life's experiences and challenges
  • Exploring through directed and non-directed sessions

Art therapy sessions are available in person throughout Lincolnshire and surrounding villages, including Cleethorpes, Grimsby, Great Coates, Stallingborough, Healing, Immingham, Ulceby,Habrough, Barnetby, Goxhill, New Holland, Barrow-upon-Humber, Barton, Thornton Curtis, and Scunthorpe.
